with Matt Whitman, Assistant Professor of Time-Based Media and Coordinator of Time, Parsons First Year In this session, we will look beyond written comments and explore alternative methods and tools for providing feedback to students, whether for projects and assignments, or middle / end of semester assessment. Our return to in-person learning has reminded us of just how precious our face-to-face classroom-time is. By using just a few of the tools and techniques that became essential during online learning, we can make more space for in-class discussion, peer-to-peer work and collaboration, as well as provide more subtle, but important cues and context to students in our assessment of their work and course progress.
