Hello & Welcome to Harnetty Railways Best Collection of Mainline Steam. Coming up We feature the best of The Princess Royal Class Locomotive Trust's 46233 Duchess of Sutherland during the 2015 season from late January to late December a few days before Christmas. We start in late January were we see 46233 Duchess of Sutherland at Rugeley Trent Valley heading to Carnforth WCRC in readiness for the Winter Cumbrian Mountain Express Season we catch up with 46233 at Crewe were she tuck on water before setting off for the 88 mile run down the WCML to Carnforth. The next sequences are on the WCME trips themselves on Jan 31st and Feb 7th outward via Shap and return via The S&C. It would not be for another 5 months till we caught up with her again during the summer season as we see her arriving at Crewe Heritage Centre Museum ready to be apart of the 2015 Crewe Pool Season. A few days later on July 17th we join the train for the run down Shap and the WCML to Wigan North Western were we joined the line to Liverpool. We film the next sequence from St Helens Central to Prescot with an awesome sound track of the 4 cylinder pacific. The CME runs she does are from stations on the 1st of August we see her at Bryn & Prescot while on the 15th see her arriving & departing at Wigan North Western. A few month later we see her again on home turf this time much closer to London as she makes her way home to The Midland Railway Centre from West London after doing The White Rose a few days earlier. We start at Milton Keynes were we see her thunder past the station next next catch up with her at Rugby were she stopped for water & Crew change. Canley was next in the thick fog before finally Tamworth in the fading light. And finally we see her round York during the build up to Christmas as she stepped in for 60009 Union of South Africa on the Christmas tours. We finish at The National Railway Museum were we see her being prepared to head home to Butterley which is were we finish this video. Thanks for reading enjoy the best of 46233 Duchess of Sutherland.
