Rather than building a single large house, the architects embraced the steep topography by creating separate volumes that respond individually to the landscape — one elevated on a column and the other partially sunken. The surrounding gardens, planted with high-altitude tropical species, play a central role in linking the buildings and extending the living space. Through shared materials and details, the house blurs boundaries between architecture and nature, offering a thoughtful exploration of how outdoor environments can enrich and expand domestic life.
