Queued into solos knowing full well there would be no T-West, no 10Yard, no emotional support teammates. Just me, my questionable aim, and whatever the Battle Bus decided to do with my life. Dropped in safely because risky drops are for people who expect to survive. First few minutes went great — found decent loot, shielded up, and immediately started farming bots like it was my full-time job. Every elim felt suspiciously easy. If they didn’t jump, slide, or react in any human way, I just nodded and accepted my role as the island’s bot bully. Mid game was peak solo paranoia. Every gunshot in the distance sounded like a pro player warming up specifically to end my match. I spent more time hiding in bushes and rotating early than actually fighting. Zero Build but somehow still playing like walls might magically appear if I believe hard enough. Then I ran into an actual human being. Real movement. Real shots. Real fear. I panicked, whiffed half a mag, slid past them like I meant to do it, and somehow walked away with the elim. I immediately assumed that was my one allowed real-player kill for the match and avoided conflict like it was contagious. End game hit and reality set in. No carry was coming. No clutch legend flying in to save me. Just raw survival instincts and a loadout I barely knew how to use. I rotated, third-partied when possible, and absolutely refused fair fights. Eventually, I went down doing what I do best — existing slightly too long in a lobby I probably didn’t belong in. Final placement was respectable, elims looked impressive on paper, and my confidence was artificially inflated by bots who never stood a chance. No carries. No legends. Just me, a pile of bots, and one or two real players who definitely made me sweat. Solo queue accomplished.
