ISIOLO CHIEFS AND DCC WARNED AGAINST DIVERSION AS FOOD RELIEF TARGETS 25,000 FAMILIES

The Isiolo County Commissioner, David Kiprop, joined the Women Representative, Mumina Bonaya, County Secretary Dade Boru, and the Chief Officer for Special Programmes, Hassan Abdullahi Hassan, in flagging off a food relief distribution exercise targeting 25,000 families across the county. According to Commissioner Kiprop, the two trucks flagged off are part of a total of 15 trucks delivering the relief food, which includes 4,500 bags of rice and 3,900 bags of beans. Commissioner Kiprop issued a warning to officers overseeing the distribution against diverting or allocating the food to unintended beneficiaries, stating that anyone found involved will face disciplinary action, including dismissal from service.
