The visuals were obviously at the same level as official maps but with a little more je ne sais quoi to it, like the added water textures to the slides and tunnel of love and a couple of custom melee weapons too. My favorite melee was the cymbals if you couldn’t already tell🦦 The 4th chapter wasn’t quite as exciting to play as the other chapters besides the ferris wheel section and even then the invisible walls on the railings were a little unnecessary, but it was still better than the 4th chapter in the original Dark Carnival. The 5th chapter had a little too much going on but it was still very fun to play. Apparently, there was a coin in each chapter that unlocked a secret ending if we collected all of them. Unfortunately, we were playing Realism and it only works on Campaign mode. Overall, this was a refreshing remake of Dark Carnival that, yes, was more challenging but only slightly compared to the original. 8.3/10 Map: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
