Walking in Norfolk - Shouldham Warren - Merging of the Brecks and the Fens - Beautiful walk.

We discovered this walk by accident, so glad we found it as it was one of the best walks we'd been on this year! Situated not far from Kings Lynn with the opportunity to venture further to explore the Nar Valley Way, Pentney Lakes and Castle Acre and more. Luckily, we chose a lovely sunny Autumn day which definitely highlighted the beautiful views and of course, the big Norfolk skies. There are two main marked routes varying from 1km - 3km however, the whole area has numerous unmarked paths weaving in and around the woodlands, great for exploring off the beaten track, which we did. Out of the woodland are the open fens with fantastic views across the fields and a path that leads along the river edge. The Warren appears to be a very popular site, there is a decent sized (free) car park along with other parking spaces along the roads leading to the site (there are no amenities). When we visited, the car park was very busy, however, once we'd ventured further into the walk, the people we did meet were few and far between. This is definitely an area that we would like to revisit and explore more of the pathways - maybe going in a different direction. It's also a good area for dog walking and cycling.
