On October 26-27, 2025 I hiked the Elk River Trail at Elk City State Park in Southeast Kansas. This is a very rugged trail with some nice views and great backwoods camping. I was completely alone not seeing another person for 2 whole days! I got to use my new Durston X-Mid 1 Tent and my new Enlightened Equipment Revelation 20 degree quilt. Both did well and showed me where I need to make some improvements in my setup.
