Matrixbrute Firmware 2.0 - Custom LFO melodies

Demonstration of using the new custom LFO editor to create melodies using a quantizer. This is the same patch from my wiimote motion control video but with only OSC 1 & 2 playing. In this setup the waveform you see being edited with the matrix buttons is sent out to a 2HP Tune quantizer eurorack module set to minor pentatonic via CV. The V/Oct signal the quantizer outputs is routed back to OSC 1 & 2. This effectively turns the LFO into a mini-sequencer for melody of both oscillators. Mod depth of the output is set to +64 yielding about a 2 octave range. Blue squares on the bottom row create stepped output values and red squares are smoothed values. This particular quantizer only accepts positive voltages from 0-5v so I draw on only the upper half of the display to create a unipolar LFO with only positive values. The LFO is tempo synced and the rate knob can be used to choose the rhythmic subdivision of the melody. Only just scratching the surface of this but some exciting possibilities come to mind: 1. quantizer per OSC with each playing its own tempo synced LFO derived melody 2.
