TRIP REPORT | A Perfect Flight with Etihad | Abu Dhabi to Mumbai | ETIHAD Boeing 777

Etihad Trip Report flying from Abu Dhabi to Mumbai onboard one of the Etihad Boeing 777-300ER on a lovely late-spring afternoon. A very comfortable flight from Abu Dhabi to Mumbai onboard one of Etihad's Boeing 777-300ER. The flight was going almost empty, with less than 40% occupancy. That allowed us to get a full row which boosted a lot the comfort for this 3-hours flight. After a nice tour of Abu Dhabi airport together with some planespotting, we boarded the Etihad B777 that would take us to Mumbai. The boarding was really quick and we pushed-back from the stand on time. We took off towards the sea and made a 180° turn still over Abu Dhabi. This was my first time in Abu Dhabi airport during the day and I must say it's much more beautiful than in the night. The views of Abu Dhabi Yas Marina circuit were amazing. We crossed the UAE flying towards Muscat, in Oman. The views of desertic landscapes and arid mountains were amazing, as well as the lots of potential storm clouds we saw on the way to the Gulf of Oman. We crossed the Indian Ocean towards Mumbai. We approached the airport during the sunset and, once again, the lanscapes were just stunning. Regarding the onboard service, Etihad served a full meal on this 3-hour flight. I chose the chicken option, as almost always, and as absolutely always, it was fantastic. I even asked for a second round and they were happy to serve it as they were expecting more passengers and had a lot of spare meals. Now it's your turn! Have you ever flown with Etihad Airways?
