The Planning & Development Committee meets the second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 1:00 p.m. The Committee, comprised of two Councillors and two members of the community, is an opportunity to implement a process for development proposals to be considered in conjunction with the policies of the Official Community Plan and provide an opportunity for developers to receive initial input on development proposals. Meetings take place in Council Chambers located at 446 Main Street, however, the current Order of the Provincial Health Officer on Gatherings and Events prohibits in-person public attendance. Pursuant to Ministerial Order M192 - Local Government Meetings & Bylaw Process (formerly M139), local governments have the authority to hold meetings electronically to ensure public participation and attendance.
