'SUMS Updates' panel moderated by Tal Ben-Horin & Andrea Tarnecki at the 9th Oyster South Symposium

At the 2026 Oyster South Symposium in Houston, Texas, Tal Ben-Horin (North Carolina State University) and Andrea Tarnecki (Auburn University) moderated the panel 'SUMS Updates', discussing current and ongoing research into sudden unusual mortalities in oysters. Panelists were Ryan Carnegie and Bill Walton (both of the Virginia Institute of Marine Science). One panelist (Colin Elmers, UNC) was unable to attend but contributed a recording of his planned talk at a subsequent date.
