What is truth?

Dr. Steven Phelps will join us this Thursday to explore “What is truth”, offering some context to this question from the perspective of philosophy, science, and religion, and touching on the problem of truth in the age of social media, before moving to the heart of the presentation, which is a discussion of the concept of truth found in the Baha’i Writings. Dr. Steven Phelps received dual bachelors’ degrees in physics and philosophy from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in physics from Princeton University, specializing in cosmology. He worked for 13 years at the Bahá’í World Center in Haifa, Israel in its Research Department, where he coordinated the indexing and collation of the Bahá’í Sacred Writings and their translation from Persian and Arabic into English.
