In this video I try to find the fault in my vw transporter 2.5tdi. Currently its only running on 4 of the 5 cylinders, I've had the van hooked up to the laptop and there's no faults, the timing is slightly out however its not out enough for it to cause this problem. I first started the van and while it was running I cracked the fuel line to each the injector to see if there was a change in the engine. Cylinder 2 was the only cylinder that when I cracked the fuel line to difference was made, cylinder 2 in where the problem is, closer inspection is required. I will look at the non return valve in the diesel injection pump to check its not stuck, and I will then swap the injector over to see if its the injector.
