A real blast from the past with lots of great racing from some famous names in Grasstrack. Just take a look at the list of riders below, and see how many you remember. Some terrific racing in all classes. Local 500cc star Chris Tritton has a real battle of his hands with the spectacular Paul Mitchell, Ricky Sandford, and Steve Wilson all in the mix. The 350's sees a great battle between old rivals Keith Potts, Dave Mears, Jonathan Duke, plus Steve Wilson also on a 350. Some top names do battle in the 250cc Solo's with Lee Street, John Pilcher, Terry Giles, Keith Strudwick, John Dormer, Richie Knight, and the ever improving youngster Dean Camier. Add in top Eastern centre man Richard Smith, and you've got a great line-up of 250's. In the LH Sidecars, Bill Penfold/Liam Chivers will be looking to take another victory in the S/E centre, but with Luke Pachol/Julian Browning now looking a real force in the LH class after taking the last 3 wins in the Sussex centre, everyone was looking forward to this clash. Plenty of other in form crews in the entry though, including John Fish/Gary Moore, Neil & Martin Cuff, and Bob & Keith Miles. The RH Sidecars always produce great racing, and plenty of that here, with Nevill Penfold/Paul Randall looking to be the favourites to take the class, but you can never tell, and Jerry Adams/Adam Cowper-Smith would give them a run for their money, as would Mike Baxter/Steve Bassett.
