Hello everyone 🤍 Welcome back to CookedByAnum. Today, I’m sharing a rich, creamy and traditional Pakistani Beef Haleem — slow-cooked, silky smooth and full of deep, comforting flavors 🧡🍲 This haleem is perfectly balanced, super delicious and just like restaurant-style — great for family dinners, dawat, and special occasions ✨ 🍲 Beef Haleem Recipe 🧺 Wheat & Lentils (Soaking) Wheat: 1 cup Chana dal: ½ cup Moong dal: 3 tbsp Masoor dal: 3 tbsp Mash dal: 4 tbsp Rice: 2 tbsp Method: Wash wheat and soak for 4–5 hours in a separate bowl. Wash all lentils and rice and soak separately for 4–5 hours. 🍳 Boil Wheat & Lentils For Wheat: Water: 3 glasses Turmeric: ½ tsp Salt: ½ tsp Method: Drain wheat, add fresh water, turmeric and salt. Cook on low flame until the wheat is completely soft. For Lentils: Boil all lentils until soft (chana dal should stay slightly whole). Set both aside. 🥩 Beef Qorma for Haleem Beef with bones: ½ kg Onions: 2 medium (sliced) Bay leaves: 2 Ginger garlic paste: 2 tbsp Red chili powder: 2 tsp Salt: 2 tsp Turmeric powder: 1½ tsp Coriander powder: 2 tsp Cumin powder: 2 tsp Qorma masala: 2 tsp (any brand, I used Shan) Garam masala: 1 tsp Oil: ½ cup Ghee: 5–6 tbsp Water: 6–7 glasses Method: Heat oil and ghee in a pot. Add onions and fry until golden. Remove some for garnish. Add beef and fry for 5 minutes. Add bay leaves and ginger garlic paste, sauté well. Add all spices and bhunao until fragrant. Add water, cover and cook on low flame for about 2 hours until meat is tender and gravy reduces to about 4 glasses. 🔄 Blending & Final Cooking Add cooked wheat and lentils to a large pot. Blend with a hand blender until smooth. Add meat gravy and half shredded beef. Cook on low flame for 15 minutes.
