Scripture: John 20:21 “As the Father has sent Me, I am sending you.” After the resurrection, Jesus did not merely comfort His disciples. He commissioned them. The words spoken then still define the Christian life. In Christ, salvation is not the end. It is the beginning of the mission. Every believer is sent. The mission of Jesus continues through His people. He revealed the Father, proclaimed the kingdom, healed the broken, confronted darkness, and embodied divine love. Through the Spirit, that same life now flows through those who belong to Him. Purpose is not accidental. Placement is not random. Being sent is often ordinary. It looks like faithful presence, attentive listening, acts of kindness, Spirit-led conversations, and quiet obedience. Mission is not an occasional activity. It is identity expressed daily. As Christ is formed within, awareness grows. His presence is carried into workplaces, families, neighbourhoods, and relationships. The kingdom is revealed not only through preaching but through character and love. The One who sends also empowers. Peace replaces pressure. Grace replaces fear. Life becomes a field where Christ is displayed. Every environment becomes an opportunity for light to shine. You are not only saved. You are sent.
