An #EasyRecipe to follow - Brownies with a twist of delicious salted caramel straight from Chef Delz Kitchen. Stay Home and Cook #WithMe! Recipe : For the Salted Caramel: Ingredients: Sugar – 150 g Cream – 60 ml Butter – 60 g Sea salt – 5 g Method: 1. Heat sugar in a pan with a touch of water 2. Keep cooking and stirring till it reaches a golden brown colour 3. Reduce the head and gradually mix in the cream 4. Turn off the heat and mix in the butter 5. Finally stir in the sea salt and leave aside to cool For the Brownies : Ingredients : Caster Sugar – 385 g Eggs – 5 nos Butter – 265 g Dark Chocolate – 300 g Sliced walnuts – 60 g Flour – 265 g Method: 1. Melt chocolate and butter together and keep aside ( allow to drop to room temperature ) 2. Whisk eggs and sugar together till frothy 3. Add the chocolate mixture to the egg mixture and whisk together 4. Add the flour and fold into the batter, do not over mix 5. Pour the liquid caramel over the brownies and swirl up the batter using a toothpick 6. Sprinkle the sliced walnuts on top 7. Bake at 170 – 180 C for 35 to 40 mins depending on the size of the oven 8. When the cake is set in the centre it is ready 9. Remove from the oven and cool in the pan 10. Once cool you can cut them 11.
