There are so many physical and health benefits of walking. But you may not know that there are some significant benefits for your creativity. In my PhD research, I am creating new knowledge -- which is a creative process. Creativity is not always easy in our highly distractive world. Links for the books and videos that I talked about, my walking desk supplies and the scientific studies mentioned found below. One way we can improve our creativity is by walking. In this video I share what I have learned about this topic by reading the book REST by Alex Soojung-Kim Pang which has changed the way that I work. I share a summary of the different types of thinking i.e. convergent and divergent thinking and how walking effects them. I also explain what has been found about the differences between indoor walking and outdoor walking. And I share my budget-friendly indoor walking desk setup for anyone who would like to incorporate more walking into their day. This is especially beneficial if you can't get outside at the moment. I really hope this video will be helpful and If you would like future videos about these topics let me know with a thumbs up or comment and subscribe to see more. Stay safe and healthy.
