The MOST delicious homemade Viral Doner Kebab you’ll ever make! Thinly sliced meat, buttery tomato sauce, soft pita, and creamy yogurt… pure heaven on a plate. This recipe is easy, authentic, and tastes better than the restaurant! 😍 ✨ Don’t forget to follow my channel for more viral recipes! ✨ Ingredients Meat: • 1 kg medium-fat ground beef • 1 onion (finely grated) • 15 g salt • 10 g paprika (powdered pepper) • 5 g red pepper flakes • 10 g black pepper • 1 tbsp yogurt Other Ingredients: • Pita bread (cut into cubes) • Tomatoes • Green peppers • Yogurt Butter & Sauce: • 100 g butter • 50 g tomato paste • 50 g pepper paste • 200 ml boiling water • 5 g salt • 5 g sugar Instructions 1. Prepare the Meat • Combine ground beef, grated onion, yogurt, salt, paprika, red pepper flakes, and black pepper. • Knead very well until the mixture becomes sticky. • Place the meat between two sheets of baking/wax paper. • Roll it out thin with a rolling pin. • Remove the top paper, then fold the meat inward by 3 cm to form a tight roll. • Repeat until all meat is rolled. • Place rolls on a baking tray with tomatoes and green peppers. • Bake at 180°C (356°F) for 35–40 minutes, checking occasionally. 2. Make the Tomato Sauce • Melt 1 tbsp butter in a pan. • Add tomato paste and pepper paste; sauté. • Add 200 ml boiling water, 5 g salt, and 5 g sugar. • Cook on low heat until slightly thickened. • Set aside. 3. Prepare Final Butter • Melt the remaining butter until foamy. Set aside. 4. Assemble the İskender • Place cubed pita bread on a serving plate. • Pour some tomato sauce over the pita. • Slice the cooked meat thinly and place it on top. • Drizzle a little more tomato sauce. • Add roasted tomatoes, peppers, and a spoon of yogurt on the side. • Finish with a generous pour of melted butter on top.
