Acrylic Pouring St. Patrick's Day Wandering Straight Pours asmr wearing o the green Hello Friends! Welcome back! Today we are playing with some really beautiful greens to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day! 🍀 "May your troubles be less, and your blessings be more.. and may nothing but Happiness come through your door" I'm using a 24x36 inch gallery wrapped canvas from Artist Loft. Colors: DecoArt Americana Decor Metallics Emerald Green 24K Gold Amsterdam Prussian Blue Naples Yellow Light Arteza Pearl Pistachio Green Basecoat: Amsterdam Prussian Blue 24x36 Artist Loft Canvas Pouring Medium: Liquitex Gloss Medium Paint + a bit of Water Floetrol There is NO Silicone in Any of My Paint. My basecoat is Prussian Blue, to give some contrast and really make all the green pop and sparkle! I layer 2 cups carefully down the side, keeping contrast in mind. I pour them diagonally across the canvas to meet in the middle, and proceed to tilt it. I really want to keep some negative space around the edges. I should have poured each cup going across the length of the whole canvas, not just to the middle. I ended up having a lot of paint in the middle, and had to tilt off a lot in order to stretch out the cool parts. All that tilting distorted the composition, so I ended up layering another cup and pouring that. I was able to stretch that out and really open it up to see more details. Think about your composition before you pour, I got too excited and did not, and ended up working to get what I wanted, instead of having it work the first time. I probably should have used one bigger cup and poured all the way across the canvas, instead of two cups meeting in the middle. Good lesson tho! I hope you all enjoyed this pour, I love the end result and the colors. I'm very happy I used the Prussian Blue as a basecoat background color, I love the contrast with the other colors, that Naples Yellow Light and the Pistachio especially. thanks for being here with us today! Happy St Patrick's Day! 🍀 Music from Epidemic Sound: Our Green Lands - Bonn Fields Highland Morning - Rune Dale A Pint and a Smile - Christian Andersen Me Ma She Knows - Rune Dale Eastern Wind - Rune Dale Livin' Proof - Headlund Hill Walk - Rune Dale my apologies for a few technical difficulties in the video, our software was very glitchy during editing and I was rushing to post this.
