Sometimes, fewer choices lead to greater creativity. In this video, I take one camera and a 40mm prime lens on a 10 mile walk through the Peak District to see how limitation can reshape creativity and transform the way we photograph. This video is all about slowing down, seeing differently and challenging yourself in photography by embracing restriction. Armed with only a 40mm lens, I set out on a 10 mile walk through the Peak District with the goal of documenting the journey and finding creativity and simplicity. Limiting your gear forces you to think more intentionally about composition, light and the stories you choose to tell. I hope this video inspires you to try something similar.
