Capacity Building Program Day 2 @SSVInternationalSchool on Active Learning

SSV International School - Guntur successfully conducted Day 2 of the Capacity Building Program (CBP) on Active Learning, as part of the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) initiative mandated by the CBSE. As per CBSE directives, every teacher is required to complete 50 hours of professional training annually. In line with this, SSV International School has taken the initiative to organize a series of CBP sessions for teachers to enhance their teaching skills and classroom practices. The session was hosted by the Venue Director and Principal, Mrs. Prasanna Rani Joy, and facilitated by the CBSE Resource Persons: Mr. Yeleswara Rao, Principal, Dr. DVR’s Sainik School, Inkollu Dr. Md. Nazreen, Ushodhaya E.M. School, Guntur The resource persons led an engaging and insightful session focused on Active Learning. They explained the key differences between Active and Passive Learning, and how Experiential Learning and 21st Century Skills can be effectively integrated into classroom teaching to promote student engagement, creativity, and critical thinking. Through real-time activities, role plays, and group discussions, the facilitators demonstrated innovative strategies that can make classrooms more dynamic and learner-centered. The session was interactive and enjoyable, with teachers enthusiastically participating in all the activities. The training concluded with Principal Mrs. Prasanna Rani Joy extending heartfelt gratitude to the resource persons for their valuable time, expert guidance, and knowledge sharing.
