With the chassis now rolling and for the most part complete, Sam and Nate shift their attention and efforts to getting the body of Nate's Baja ready for paint. There is a little more work to do on the front end, specifically making sure they can put fuel in the tank, and cutting back the remnants of the trunk in front of the tank. Once the original fuel filler had been cut out and patched up, an aftermarket fuel filler in installed in the quarter panel and lines up nicely with the front end. Then after the front end sheet metal is cut back and a front bulkhead is trimmed out, Sam and Nate pull the two major dents somewhat successfully, on the body with a stud welder and slide hammer. The pair finishes by applying some body filler, sanding, and then finally getting the body in primer and ready for more sanding!
