Recorded at Abbeystrewry Church, Skibbereen on Sunday 15th December 2019 at a charity concert Ilen Vibe Choir hosted in aid of West Cork Women Against Violence Project. The concert featured the ladies of Ilen Vibe, under the leadership of Niamh McCarthy, and a band consisting of Maurice Seezer on piano, John Fitzgerald on bass, Ronan Archbold (Archie) on guitar and Anthony Noonan on percussion. Founded in November 2017, the choir is based at Church Cross, Skibbereen, on the banks of the Ilen River which has produced Olympic and World Champion rowers. We like to think our singing embodies the spirit of the area, hence the name. Ilen Vibe is all about joy and fun; we don’t take ourselves too seriously but we take our singing very seriously!
