They arrive together. That is how my experience with AI has been. When I first began using AI three years ago, I was fascinated. Information, explanation, synthesis — all available instantly. It felt powerful. Then came the problems. A legal case in New Zealand. Complex documents. Iterations. Revisions. Rejections. Hours of work. No result. Later, identity verification issues. Passkeys. Conflicting instructions. Repeated apologies. Sixteen times. Nineteen times. Snapshots taken carefully step by step. Still failure. Frustration. But here is the insight: AI is powerful — but limited. It is excellent at one thing at a time. It struggles when multiple domains must be synthesized with judgment and context. So what do we do? In Japanese management we created “quality circles.” When problems occur at the shop floor, the people closest to the issue gather, reflect, and improve the system. That is what I am doing now. Not blaming. Not abandoning. Not worshiping. Learning. If millions face similar issues between Apple and Google systems, then the problem is not individual — it is structural. Good and bad come together. Enemy and teacher come together. Difficulty becomes the doorway. So I am documenting the cases. Writing them into the book. Even drafting a possible letter to Alphabet. Not from anger — but from responsibility. AI is powerful. But heart must guide it. Calm mind. No ego. Wisdom and compassion. If there is a will, there is a way.
