Guarulhos - Brazilian Food, trying the legendary Prato Feito! (Part 2)

This was my last day in Brazil on my South American trip of 2024 before I flew back to the UK. I went to a café called Lanchonete Pontes in Guarulhos and had a traditional Brazilian lunch, the famous Prato Feito aka Prato Comercial. This mainly consists of rice, beans, meat, salad, farofa and some kind of meat, in this case beef. This is exactly the kind of meal that I like when I go to Brazil as it is so flavoursome and hearty. I was sad to say goodbye to South America after my whistle-stop tour in just 19 days! But it was really interesting getting to know the fascinating city of Guarulhos in more detail as opposed to just passing through it on the way to the airport. It really is an interesting city and well worth checking out if you have some free time there.
