How do we value art? Does the attention it receives validate us, or is there more to our creativity than what others think of it? What can we consider as ‘art’ itself? In her moving talk, Bocconi student and musician Chiara Natali delves into these very questions. Through her powerful stories, she illustrates how each and every one of us have our own form of art to offer to the world. Natali finds that changing the life of a single person through our art is enough for our efforts to have meaning, and it may be that the most important person to be changed by our art is ourselves. Chiara Natali is a winner of the TEDxBocconiU Student Speaker Competition. She studies International Politics and Government at Bocconi as she is passionate about journalism and hopes to widen her worldview. She writes and edits articles for the art magazine "L'Ulcera del Signor Wilson". Chiara, inspired by Lou Reed, calls herself a "professional wannabe", hoping to express herself in every creative domain. She believes having things to say is what makes art memorable. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
