A heavy rainstorm rolls through our off-grid tiny cabin in Oklahoma, pushing the creek out of its banks and testing everything we’ve built out here in the woods. In this episode, we ride out the storm at the cabin, cross a flooded creek in the side-by-side, and see how the property looks once the rain finally moves through. The deer and turkeys start showing themselves again, and it’s a reminder of why we chose this quiet, off-grid life in the first place. We also take a look back at the original 1970s deer camp camper that started this entire cabin journey. Inside, it’s simple cabin living — cinnamon rolls in the oven, a quiet family night by the wood stove, draining grey water, and securing the water system after the storm. This is real off-grid cabin life in Oklahoma — sometimes intense, sometimes slow, but always worth it. If you enjoy tiny cabin living, off-grid homesteading, and the full build journey in the Oklahoma woods, subscribe and follow along as we continue improving and living at our cabin. Thanks for being here.
