I'm a firm believer that arcanist is dumb because it removes your ability to heal, which is the most important feature of mage as it allows you to sustain infinitely. The idea of this build is to abuse manastorm, which gives you 10 mana on every spell cast. Ideally you'd want a perfect Keratoconus to cut the ice snake cost to 1. Meteor + Snake costs 16 + 1 mana, this gives 3 mana surplus and will gradually build up as you keep casting. If you wanna do maximum damage you can cycle with Meteor + Meteor + Snake, that will slowly drain your mana but you can always switch back to Meteor + Snake cycle to get back some mana. But of course you need to hit all meteors to maximize your damage and that's probably the struggle of being a riftwalker. This build does not have HPR gear because well, you can use Heal as a riftwalker. I'm also using a macro on my logitech mouse, which is why I can cast spells nonstop. However, the only factor stopping me going crazy is my ping, sometimes my input will register too slow and cause it to cast other spells like Heal and Teleport. This is the deadly downside of this build because you're done if you teleport inside Greg. I also have a Lament and Lunar Spine as offhands. Lament is powdered with Chain Lightning to do the 1st room, and I can also use it to cycle through Heal + Snake to get my manastorm up and ready. Lunar Spine is just an emergency offhand in case I messed up my mana management.
