This week, it's a special grain to glass video on how to take your stouts to the next level. It's Cucumber Stout! We endeavored to bring a new level to the stout game and perhaps even cause a little BJCP turbulence. This beer is what you've been looking for in creativity and innovation in the Stout category. We spiked into the mash 1 pound of sliced cucumbers when making this stout. Each cucumber was precisely measured and cut. On tasting this beer the base stout was refreshing and largely driven by a solid Roasted Barley quality. Fermentation was excellently clean with just enough esters to support the cucumber presence in the beer. Brew this beer and tell us what you think. Cheers!
