Hello friends! Happy Friday!!! Today we're making a super simple marina sauce from scratch. There are so many ways you can use this delicious sauce. Use it for chicken parm, use it for lasagna, use it as pizza sauce, or just throw it over some noodles and call it a day!! This is a great item to have on hand and costs less than your average store bought sauce plus it tastes 100x better! FOLLOW ME ON IG: @maddibragg Simple Garlic Marinara - Ingredients: 2 28oz Cans Whole Peeled Tomatoes Olive Oil 10-15 Garlic Cloves 3 Fresh Bay Leaves Italian Parlsey or Basil 1. Take garlic and sandwich between two pieces of plastic wrap. Use a rolling pin or the bottom of a measuring cup to smash garlic into uneven pieces. 2. Add garlic and a couple tbsp of olive oil into a heavy bottomed pot and cook garlic until small bits are golden brown & large bits are still raw. 3. Add in 2 cans of whole peeled tomatoes and use the back of a wooden spoon to smash/break up the large chunks, 4. Let simmer for 45 minutes then add bay leaves and continue to simmer for 15 more minutes. 5. Turn off heat and stir in Italian parsley! 6. Store sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week or freeze!
