Big Bear Eagle Cam ~ Mr. BB Brings A Fish For The Mrs. 1.10.18

Mrs. BB has been on the eggs non stop incubating when Mr. BB comes in with a nice fish for her lunch. She vocals her excitement and gets up and eats the fish quickly before returning to incubate them. She does not leave the eggs exposed for more than a few minutes at a time which is important at this stage of the developing chicks. In a previous video I noted she had a black PS (poop shot) yesterday. This can be caused by a number of factors including something unusual that she ate recently, it could be caused by an infection in the intestinal tract (gut), stress, prolonged prevention of a ps, blood collecting in the feces..she seems to be fine so we will keep an eye on her.
