Presenter: Jess Haigh, Academic Librarian at Leeds Beckett University Abstract: At Leeds Beckett we are dealing with similar issues to many other HEs around systematic review support: an increased number of SRs in general, especially among undergraduate students; the expansion of SRs into different subject areas; and copyright issues with supplying articles for SR teams. We are aiming to address this in several ways. Firstly, by expanding our SR support for taught students by adding Libguides content, offering more specific SR workshops to our teaching offer, and creating online materials which lecturers can add to modules in the VLE. Secondly, by providing more training and information on SRs for both library and academic staff. We have delivered SR referrals training for library helpdesk staff and general SR briefings for the library academic support team. For academic staff, we have provided a workshop via our internal staff development programme on making SRs an appropriate assessment for students at different levels. Thirdly, we have reviewed our policies around copyright and document supply for systematic review teams, particularly in light of the recent changes to the CLA HE license. In this session I will provide more detail about all of the above and share materials from sessions we have delivered, as well as links to useful content and resources.
