US Navy Rhino Demo Team 2024 NAS Oceana Air Show

The East Coast F/A-18 Super Hornet "Rhino" Demo Team from VFA-106 flies for the hometown crowd at the 2024 NAS Oceana Air Show. Shot on Saturday, September 21. Fantastic weather for this air show gave us a high show all day, and the vapor on the fighter jets was great for the whole show. Additionally, this demo was performed in the Gladiators color bird with the black and gold vertical stabalizers. This was the final flight for Lt. Sam Magilke, the WSO. After the demo, they shut down in front of center point and wet him down with champagne. This is a rare opportunity to see a tradition of military aviation.
