A road accident was reported near Pahala Chhak on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar when a car hit an Ama Bus from behind. The Ama Bus was coming from Cuttack to Bhubaneswar and had stopped near the Millennium City bus stop for passengers to get down. Suddenly, a speeding car coming from behind rammed into the bus. The impact was so severe that the car’s bumper and other parts were badly damaged. Due to the deployment of airbags, the car driver narrowly escaped with minor injuries. Local residents claimed that the bus was stopped a little away from the designated bus stop, while Ama Bus staff alleged that the accident occurred due to the negligence of the car driver.
