So, with the recent release of the Pike & Shotte suppliment 'Death and the Landsknecht' by @warlordgames , it's given me the kick up the backside I needed to get on with my Landsknecht army. Afterall, they've been on the shelf for a year (only a year since I opened the box - is that a record?). So, how do I paint such a boxed army quickly? Firstly, count how many different coloured primer sprays you have.... Then, cut off the bottom of the sprues, where the Katzbalger, daggers and pouches are, spray all these black. Then divide the number of main sprues by the number of primer sprays.... Then paint legs and body parts to match the colours of other sprues, upon construction, this will give a collection of 'Halved' or 'Quartered' models is you then use corresponding arms. Then, I added a 'third' colour to some models, finished the blocking out and gave them all a wash with Soft Tone Ink, overbrushed and the final highlights. As usual, all paints used were by @TheArmyPainter . Will be posting some more videos to document my 'Murder Peacocks' project, so subscribe to stay informed.
