The United Nations estimates the entire enclave has more than 61 million tons of debris. Meanwhile Palestinians continue to live in tents amid the rubble, without access to infrastructure or facilities. Some fear that the dire humanitarian situation is currently overshadowed by the U.S.-Israel war on Iran.
