Monthly compilation video of Sacramento Light Rail Trains within the month of October 2025. This was the first full month where the Gold Line only ran new Siemens S700 low floor LRV's the last two of delivery batch 2 427 and 428 have gone into service having enough S700 cars to run full 2 car service on the Gold Line. This brings SACRT's S700 fleet to 28 cars that have been in service now. Though 427 and a couple of cars were temporarily pulled from service for a little while likely due to post testing glitches that may have developed and I heard sometimes the deployable ramps on S700 and S70 train cars would have problems that would lead to whole cars being put out of service until it's fixed as San Diego MTS had this problem also with its S70 and S700 fleet. This is what the 3 SACRT S700 cars out of service are experiencing if it isn't because they were involved in some accident in the street running sections of Downtown Sacramento. While all of batch 1 and 2 have been in service now, SACRT may have received at least 1 car of batch 3 as there was a plant blue S700 car in their yard shortly before 427 and 428 went into service. Also, the Siemens Mobility yard has more of the batch 3 cars waiting to be delivered to SACRT. This blank car would be car 400 number 29. Starting November 1, 2025 and end Nov 15th, the Blue Line will shut down temporarily between to the south of the construction site 11th & K/Cathedral Square & to the north of the construction side at Marconi/Arcade Stations and will have a bus shuttle bridge connecting the shut down section. The shut down section is for construction at the future site of the Dos Rios Station to realign the right of way onto the new tracks and build new signaling equipment around the future station and partial construction on the Richards Blvd crossing and signaling functionality there also. Train testing will also occur during the shutdown in that section likely between to the north at Alkali Flat/La Valentina Station and to the south at Globe Station and if testing completes on time, service will resume on the 16th of November. If SACRT is going with the original plan, it should only be the new outbound track going into service as there is a second planned temporary shutdown to occur in spring 2026 which was to cut the new inbound track into service after trains have been sharing the new outbound track in both directions as a single track. I also filmed the 12th and I Street Station which is a one platform station where North side inbound trains have to let passenger on and off in the middle of the street. I'm am not sure what SACRT plans are for this station when the Modernization Project Starts Phase 2 in Jan 2026.
