We are leaning more towards restoration and conservation of our 110+ year old farmhouse than we are renovation but appreciate we can't not renovate and update some things the once derelict farmhouse as we go. We were complete beginners at restoration, let alone a 110 year old farmhouse, also really needing a "homesteading for beginners" guide we are still taking it slowly, enjoying everything we do no matter how hard it is, to one day realise our dream of running a fully functioning homestead from our once derelict Irish Farmhouse. There is something for everyone at The Corner House Project, if you subscribed for the derelict house restoration and renovations or just for the homestead in Ireland, we will bring the smiles, you sit back and relax and let us do the work.... well, Dawn will do the work. Stay tuned for more updates on our farmhouse renovation journey and the transformation of this historic farmhouse into a modern homestead.
