It does take a bit of time to make as the cook time is almost 4 hours. 00:00 Start of video 00:10 Ingredients 00:26 Pat beef dry and place on cutting board 00:31 Tie beef with kitchen twine 02:34 Add salt/pepper to beef 03:46 Heat Dutch oven on medium-high heat, add oil 04:03 Brown beef in Dutch oven, slice onions 07:13 Remove beef 07:33 Add onions 08:14 Stir onions until soft 08:59 Reduce heat to medium-low, cook onions 15 minutes 09:10 Add thyme, flour, and ground ginger. Cook 5 minutes 09:18 Preheat your oven 09:53 Add cider, broth, and salt to onions 11:19 Add beef back into your Dutch oven 11:56 Place Dutch oven in your oven for 1 hour 35 minutes 12:21 Peel, core, and cut your pears 13:11 Add pears to Dutch oven.
