Indulge in creamy cinnamon rice pudding made with Allsome parboiled rice, milk, and sweet condensed milk. An easy, comforting dessert that’s rich, cosy, and irresistibly delicious. Ingredients: • ½ cup Allsome long grain parboiled white rice • 2 cups full-cream milk • 1 cup water • 1 fat cinnamon stick • ⅓ cup white sugar • ¼ tsp salt • 5 Tbsp condensed milk • 1 tsp vanilla essence • ½ tsp ground cinnamon (for dusting) • Extra condensed milk to drizzle Method: Rinse the ½ cup rice under cold water until water runs clear In a pot combine: • rinsed rice • 2 cups milk • 1 cup water • cinnamon stick • sugar • salt Place on medium-high heat. Stir until it just starts bubbling. As soon as it boils, drop heat to the lowest possible flame, put the lid on slightly ajar Simmer gently for 18–20 minutes, stirring every 4–5 minutes so it doesn’t stick. When rice is soft and the mixture looks like thick porridge, remove from heat. Fish out the cinnamon stick. Stir in: • 5 Tbsp condensed milk • 1 tsp vanilla essence Taste – if you want it sweeter, add another spoon of condensed milk. Spoon into bowls while piping hot. Dust with ground cinnamon and drizzle extra condensed milk in a zigag (looks fancy, tastes illegal)
