She worked during 5 years as a journalist in the newsroom of some of the most important radio stations in Spain, and then as Press Communications Director for different spokepersons in basque institutions. Since 2002, she has been working at all election campaigns -- local, regional, national and european -- and her work -- together with others' -- has been instrumental to achieve the historical results that basque socialists got in 2008 and especially in 2009, when the process started to elect the first socialist Lehendakari. Following the path led by Barack Obama in the White House, the Lehendakari created the first Direction for an Open Government and Internet Communication in the spanish speaking world, and Nagore directed the design and launch of the first portal in spanish that materializes the principles of Transparency, Collaboration and Participation of the Open Goverment, Irekia (which means open in euskera). In this Talk, she shares her experience. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
