How did it turn out? Check out this grain to glass video and see! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key Lime Pie Gose ( 5.5 Gallons): Grains: Pilsner Malt 5.5 lbs. (42.3%) White Wheat Malt 7.5 lbs. (57.7%) Graham Crackers (1 sleeve full) Mash Temp: 152F for 60 minutes Hops (60 minute boil): I did not add hops, however you can optionally add 1oz. Motueka Hops with 5 mins left in the boil for some lime flavor. Key Lime Zest: Add zest from 5-6 key limes (roughly 10-11g). Yeast Nutrient (optional) 1 Tbsp 10 mins left in boil 0.5-1.0 lbs of lactose 5 mins left in boil (optional) Yeast: Lallemand Sourvisiae Yeast Fermentis Safale US-05 **Half Packet of each recommended** Fermentation at 67F Following primary fermentation, add two cut up vanilla beans to a small amount of vodka. Let soak for an hour, then add everything to fermenter. If you didn't add lactose during boil, you can also do that in the secondary by boiling about 1-2 cups water and adding the lactose to that, then add to fermenter. I racked the beer to a secondary vessel and added both lactose and vanilla beans at that time.
