Dumbed Down? - Thomas Mountain and the Ramona Trail Revisited

Thomas Mountain and the Ramona trails are a hell of a lot of fun. I first rode here in 2003 and the bottom half of the Ramona trail was fine bit of raw technical awesomeness. That bottom section is no longer what I would call raw. It is still technical and mighty fun, but it now longer has the same level of on-your-toes technical as I remember it during my previous ride here in 2006. It has often been as the Ramona Downhill as the bottom third made climbing it not really a practical option. That is no longer the case the today, folks will climb up the trail.
