Ingredients: 5 mugs of all purpose flour (plain flour) 2 mugs of butter (melted) 1 and half mugs of white sugar 3/4 mugs of fine semolina 1 teaspoon of cardamom powder (elaichi powder) 2 teaspoons of baking powder 1/2 teaspoon of green food colouring powder 1/2 teaspoon of red food colouring powder 1 cup of whole milk empty matchbox lid pencil Method: Get a mixing bowl and add in butter Add semolina Add white sugar Add cardamom powder and baking powder mix well break in and add 1 egg mix well add half the flour and mix into a dough keep adding flour and mix into a soft dough add half a cup of milk and mix into a dough keep mixing for 3-4 minutes get a bit of the dough and shape into a cookie shape, do this until the dough fnishes get a baking tray and grease proof paper and place the paper into the baking tray place the cookies in the tray add water into the food colouring powder and mix get the empty match box lid and press gently down as shown in the video get a pencil and touch the end of the pencil in the food colour mixture and gently press onto the middle of the nankhati do this for all switch on the oven at 175 degrees Celsius and place nankhati in the oven till it becomes golden brown for 20-25 minutes after 20-25 minutes remove from the oven and leave to cook down for 10 minutes Enjoy with tea!
