Bachmann Spectrum 80010 - GE 44-TON Switcher in Great Northern livery No.50 unboxing and overview

An older, but nice diesel shunter model. Like the GP30, she is part of the Spectrum series, Bachmann Premium line of model trains. The locomotive makes me think a lot of the Janus shunter by Oxford Rails that a made a video of recently. That shunter is much newer and has a lot more detail. The reason why I acquired it was the livery. What an interesting livery! even for its age, it is superbly applied and is just gorgeous! As far as details go, it is very good for its age. there is many seperately fitted parts, the handrails being the largest ones. There is no cab details and if you look closely, you can see the wires in it. It is pretty much hidden and also there is a driver that makes it look good. I have 100s of locomotives in my collection.
