Product Management Event in San Francisco about How to Master Simple Questions. 📆 Check out upcoming events: https://prdct.school/events 📑 Get the slides: https://prdct.school/2Ljzd1l ℹ Find out more about us: https://prdct.school/44f6WNW The most common question we get asked at Off the Grid markets is “What is your favorite food truck?” While seemingly easy enough to answer, the product team at Off the Grid wants to know more. Why are guests asking that question? How do guests choose what to eat at our markets? Which trucks should we book for next week? Although fairly simple questions, they are surprisingly tough to answer, especially as they relate to the nuances in personal food preference. This talk conveyed how good Product Managers focus on a few simple questions and go deep on the answers. Dan Mascola is currently the Director of Product for Off the Grid. He has over a decade of experience in engineering, marketing, and product roles in the Bay Area. Dan is very customer centric working to understand user pain points, motivations, and emotional considerations to craft product and marketing strategy. Outside of work Dan enjoys playing music and running. In 2017 he finished an 8 year long challenge to run every street in San Francisco.
