Continuing our Monday Smoky Mountain adventures, we headed up to Newfound Gap and hit the Appalachian Trail to check out The jump Off, Mt Kephart, Icewater Spring Shelter, and Charlies Bunion. A very moderate to strenuous, 8 mile or so roundtrip hike, will reward you with some breathtaking panoramic views once up there, and it is a great way to get away from the crowds of the Smoky Mountains.
