The first time I really felt my "inner child" during a group meditation in sauna, I randomly cried in front of bunch of strangers. There is a LOT that we can store inside ourselves – trauma, insecurities, pain, lack of self-acceptance, and it all manifests in different toxic patterns like perfectionism, avoidance, anxiety, procrastination, burnout, and sliding into dull but "safe" way of life. Finally holding and loving your inner child can be very much an answer to resolving all of these vicious cycles.
